Hi,
I was wondering if you could recommend a similar font for Frutiger Bold? Would Futura Bold be a good substitute?
Thank You,
Upcycler

To whoever needs this info down the road:
As long as the spot shows as a separate plate within your InDesign Ink Manager it can be dealt with separately and/or ignored in-RIP. Germain was probably dealing with a tech who only had dropbox-type access to the workflow and was unable to turn plates on and off.

Bonjour!
Printing a PDF X-1a
ex: Job specs : 4+1 (c + m + y + k + 1 (spot dieline)

I sent this kind of pdf to my printer and he came back asking with new pdf without the spot color. So I did. Question: Using digital printing, is it possible to use only the cmyk (composite) part of the pdf and not the spot. I mean, not converting the spot color to process, just ignoring the spot color. I am curious to know if this is possible.

I am a graphic designer.

Unfortunately I cannot even manage to maintain this site properly, let alone add useful features such as an e-mail newsletter.
