Hi... I am having trouble with my text. Whenever the combination "il" is used indesign is converting it to a French letter c with what looks like a part 5 under the c. I believe this letter is called a cela. How can I change my indesign to NOT do this?

When I view structure in my InDesign document I lose the view of my document - how do I get it back. So that view structure is in its own panel to the left of my document and not taking up the whole screen?
