I’m having trouble with my CS4 I all of the sudden don’t have the ability to update library items… it’s not even in my pull down menu anymore? ANYONE help!

Hi… I am having trouble with my text. Whenever the combination “il” is used indesign is converting it to a French letter c with what looks like a part 5 under the c. I believe this letter is called a cela. How can I change my indesign to NOT do this?

When I view structure in my InDesign document I lose the view of my document – how do I get it back. So that view structure is in its own panel to the left of my document and not taking up the whole screen?

In giving a photopolymer plate more face exposure time increase dot gain or decrease it? or what if any other techniques can I use to decrease dot gain when processing photopolymer plates?
