Offending command: Banddevice

A PostScript error: limitcheck, offending command: banddevice points to a configuration error of the RIP itself.

Solution for Agfa RIPs
On Agfa PostScript level 1 RIPs, it can be solved by downloading the following code to the RIP:

serverdict begin 0 exitserver
statusdict begin
512000 65000 4096000 setbuffers
end

Use Notepad of Simpletext to type the text above. Make sure you type no mistakes (PostScript is case sensitive). Then use a downloader to send the code to the RIP. This code remains active until the RIP is rebooted.
