Offending command: SCSIcom

The Ethernet connection of Agfa hardware RIPs (ancient 20th century technology) is handled through their SCSI interface. This means that any PostScript error where the offending command is ‘Scsicom’ is likely to be hardware related.

Solutions

Check whether the RIP has booted correctly, whether it doesn’t hang or whether the small network selector button is set to 4. Call technical support if the error persists.
