In printing transpromo refers to transactional documents such as phone or cable bills, invoices or event tickets that also contain promotional messages or advertising. The word refers to both ‘transaction’ and ‘promotional’. The interest of direct mail companies, print providers and marketers in transpromotional documents is based on the fact that people actually open such documents, trust their content and often consult them multiple times. This increases the effectiveness of the included promotional messages. The included advertising can also easily be adapted to target the recipient’s specific interests or needs.
